“These technologies are engineered to meet the industry’s demand for speed, flexibility, and repeatability, supporting applications from smartphones and tablets to advanced semiconductor devices.”
Renishaw India has announced its debut at productronica India 2025, where the Company will showcase a comprehensive range of encoder systems and machine calibration technologies tailored to the evolving needs of the electronics manufacturing industry.
At the booth, visitors will get to see the XY stages, encoders featuring, TONiC™, VIONiC™, QUANTiC™, RESOLUTE™, ATOM DX™ and FORTiS™.
Renishaw India is also showcasing XM-60, laser systems for six degrees of freedom (6DoF), crucial for achieving precision in motion control. It is a multi-axis calibrator to evaluate and maintain machine performance across their product lines. In addition, you will see XK-10 and XR-20.
These technologies are engineered to meet the industry’s demand for speed, flexibility, and repeatability, supporting applications from smartphones and tablets to advanced semiconductor devices.
India is currently the second-largest mobile phone manufacturer globally and is projected to become the fifth-largest consumer of electronic products by FY26. With a national goal of reaching US$300 billion in electronics manufacturing and US$120 billion in exports, the country is rapidly becoming a hub for global electronics production. Multinational corporations are increasingly investing in India to build local capabilities that serve both domestic and international markets.

As a global leader in precision measurement and manufacturing technologies, Renishaw continue to drive innovation across industries. Its encoder technologies are widely used in semiconductor production, robotics, and motion control systems, delivering high-performance position feedback for smarter manufacturing. Applications include wafer handling, robotic arms, and microchip assembly, where precision and repeatability are critical.
Renishaw journey began in the 1980s with the development of its first optical readhead, the RGH1. Over the decades, the company introduced groundbreaking products such as the RESOLUTE™ absolute encoder and the miniaturized ATOM™ series. In 2021, Renishaw launched the FORTiS™ series, combining robust design with high-performance feedback for demanding environments.
Today, Renishaw’s encoders are trusted across industries for their reliability, ease of installation, and precision, making them ideal for electronics and automation applications.
The Company invites industry professionals, engineers, and manufacturers to connect with its team and explore how Renishaw’s advanced technologies can help make their production smarter and more efficient.
You can visit Renishaw at Hall 4, Stand I-25 from September 17–19, 2025, at BIEC, Bengaluru.
