Mercedes-Benz has launched the all-new G-Class 450d, featuring the most powerful diesel engine in Mercedes-Benz portfolio. With the G450d, Mercedes-Benz now offers in India, a diesel, a petrol and an electric powertrain to the iconic G-Class portfolio. The G 450d introduces a perfect combination of a powerful yet efficient diesel, underlining the powertrain diversity of the G-Class range in India, comprising an AMG, and electric and now a diesel powertrain with ISG technology.

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class continues to solidify its status as an automotive icon with significant enhancements that elevate both performance and luxury. This latest generation G 450d excels in all conditions, featuring an electrified drive system that improves overall performance and a modern driver assistance system for enhanced safety. The Mercedes-Benz G 450 d stands out among top-performing off-road vehicles, boasting of a powerful 3.0L inline 6-cylinder engine that delivers 270 kW and 750 Nm of torque. The all-new G 450d accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.8 seconds.
The all-new G-Class benefits from more than 45 years of experience and expertise in the off-road segment. The off-road vehicle icon continues to rely on proven ladder-frame construction, three mechanical differential locks and the combination of double wishbone independent front wheel suspension and a rigid rear axle. High ground clearance and long-travel suspension form the basis for the off-road characteristics.
