BluPine Energy Strengthens Rural Development Across Seven Villages In Karnataka’s Aland Region

The two-day programme focused on promoting renewable energy-linked skill development, strengthening science education, expanding access to clean drinking water, and enhancing essential rural infrastructure.

BluPine Energy, one of India’s leading renewable energy developers, in partnership with Probe Research & Social Development Foundation, has inaugurated a series of integrated community development initiatives across seven villages in the Aland region of Karnataka, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive and sustainable growth. The two-day programme focused on promoting renewable energy-linked skill development, strengthening science education, expanding access to clean drinking water, and enhancing essential rural infrastructure.
The initiatives were launched by Sumit Barat, Chief Sustainability Officer, BluPine Energy in the presence of representatives from PRSD Foundation, village Sarpanches, Panchayat representatives, and community members.
Speaking on the occasion, Sumit Barat, Chief Sustainability Officer, BluPine Energy, said, “Every renewable energy project we develop is rooted in a community. Through renewable energy skilling, science learning facilities, and access to safe drinking water, we aim to create long-term value that empowers people, especially youth and women, to participate in India’s clean energy future.”
Aligning community development with India’s clean energy transition, Skill Training Centres were set up in Jamga J and Moga B villages to provide free six-month training programmes in Solar Panel Installation. The programme is expected to directly benefit 60 local youth, with 50% participation from women, promoting both livelihood generation and gender inclusion.
In the education segment, Mini Science Centres were established in Sarasamba and Hiroli villages to promote experiential learning and strengthen foundational scientific understanding through interactive models and practical demonstrations.
To address critical water needs, RO water purification systems were installed across Kerur, Ambevad, Chincholi, Jamga J, Hiroli, and Sarasamba villages, ensuring sustained access to safe drinking water for local residents.
Additional infrastructure initiatives included installation of solar street lights in Jidaga, Sarasamba, Hiroli, Chincholi, Kerur, and Ambevad village to improve safety and mobility, construction of a bus stop in Hiroli village, and development of a cremation ground in Sarasamba village to address essential community requirements.
BluPine Energy reaffirmed its commitment to continuing structured CSR interventions across its operational regions, further strengthening its role as a responsible renewable energy platform driving sustainable and community-centric development.
