Organized by ‘The Manufacturing Frontier, this Conference focused on the role of India as the rising automotive hub. Importantly, it highlighted the significance of innovation, localizing supply chains and gaining competitiveness with digitalization through two panel discussions, three presentations, six interactive booths and one exciting quiz show

The date of 11th July 2025 was a special day for The Manufacturing Frontier Team. We triumphantly organized our fifth and the most successful ground event of the year – the Conference on Automotive Manufacturing Excellence 2025 – Chennai Edition.
The global automotive landscape is undergoing a paradigm shift, driven by technological disruption, evolving consumer demands and an urgent call for sustainable practices. In this dynamic environment, India stands at a pivotal juncture, poised to solidify its position as a leading automotive manufacturing hub. However, realizing this potential demands a strategic and transformative approach.
The “Conference on Automotive Manufacturing Excellence 2025” in Chennai, built upon the success of our Pune edition held in October 2024. In fact, the Chennai Edition of the Conference served as a pivotal platform for industry leaders, experts and solution providers to converge and discuss the strategic direction of India’s automotive manufacturing sector. With Chennai being a major automotive hub, the Conference specifically addressed the critical aspects of innovation, localization, and global competitiveness.
The CXO Panel Discussion, which focused on “Strategic Vision: Leading India’s Automotive Transformation in a Global Market” saw participation from leaders like R Keerthivasan, COO & Cofounder, Raptee.Hv, Sandeep Srivastava, Managing Director, Magna Mechatronics, Mirrors & Lighting India & Board Member of Magna India, Dr Shankar Venugopal, Vice President, Mahindra & Mahindra, Senthil Ramakrishnan, Vice President – Powertrain Engineering, Renault Nissan and Vish Viswanathan, President, Delphi TVS. This panel explored the high-level strategic decisions that CXOs are making to navigate the changing automotive landscape. It addressed how companies are positioning themselves to capitalize on India’s growth potential while staying competitive in the global market.

Digital Leaders’ Panel Discussion

 

The Digital Leaders Panel Discussion, which focused on Driving Innovation and Efficiency Through Technology, witnessed leaders like Balaji Kannan, Plant Manager & India Sustainability Co2 Champion, FORVIA Faurecia, Prakash T, DGM- Project Planning, Ashok Leyland, K Ruknudeen, Regional Sales Manager – South, Sandvik Coromant, Dr. Saravanan Janakiraman, CEO, Adventure Engineering Services, Srinivasa Babu Teegala, Global Solution Architect MES/MOM, Agratas (Tata Group) and Sriram Balasubramanian, Regional Digitalization Leader, ZF Group. This panel delved into the technological strategies that are driving digital transformation in the automotive industry. It will explore the practical implementation of advanced manufacturing techniques and technologies on the factory floor.

The power packed Conference also saw relevant and powerful presentations by V Karthik Narayan and Samir Joshi of Atlas Copco India Limited, Ruknudeen K of Sandvik Coromant, and Preetam Kumar Ganesan, MD of Prism Surface Coatings Pvt Ltd.
