Enlight Metals Plans AI-enabled Multi-City Supply Chain Network

Plans AI-enabled distribution hubs across key industrial centres, including Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Nashik, Nagpur, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Indore, to build a faster, more transparent industrial procurement ecosystem

“Our multi-city distribution expansion is focused on building a technology-driven procurement infrastructure that simplifies sourcing for manufacturers while improving supply reliability and delivery speed. By positioning inventory closer to industrial demand centres, we aim to make procurement faster, more transparent, and more efficient for businesses across India.” Dhananjay Goel, Managing Director of Enlight Metals

Industrial procurement platform Enlight Metals has announced the expansion of its supply chain and distribution network across more than 10 key industrial hubs in India as part of its strategy to build a nationwide procurement and logistics infrastructure for the metals industry. Currently operating primarily from Pune and Mumbai, the company is expanding its physical supply chain presence to major industrial centres, including Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Nashik, Nagpur, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Indore, strengthening its distribution footprint across some of India’s most important industrial and infrastructure ecosystems.
The company is developing a distributed supply chain network supported by AI-enabled distribution infrastructure, including dark stores and micro-fulfilment centers, designed to bring inventory closer to major industrial demand clusters. This approach will enable faster dispatch, improved inventory visibility, and significantly reduced lead times for manufacturers and infrastructure contractors.
These cities represent some of India’s most significant automotive, engineering, and infrastructure manufacturing ecosystems, making them strategic locations for regional procurement and logistics hubs.
Through this expansion, the company aims to create a technology-driven procurement backbone that connects suppliers, OEMs, and infrastructure contractors through its digital platform while ensuring consistent supply availability and pricing transparency.
Enlight Metals currently serves more than 500 manufacturers and OEM clients across sectors, including automotive, infrastructure, engineering, and construction, with supply operations spanning several key industrial states.
Over the next 12–18 months, the company plans to further strengthen its distribution infrastructure and expand its geographic coverage across leading manufacturing corridors, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh.
These regions collectively host some of India’s largest OEM manufacturers and infrastructure projects, creating strong demand for efficient and reliable metal procurement networks.
“India’s manufacturing and infrastructure sectors are expanding rapidly, but procurement processes for metals are still largely fragmented,” said Dhananjay Goel, Managing Director of Enlight Metals. “Our multi-city distribution expansion is focused on building a technology-driven procurement infrastructure that simplifies sourcing for manufacturers while improving supply reliability and delivery speed. By positioning inventory closer to industrial demand centres, we aim to make procurement faster, more transparent, and more efficient for businesses across India.”
Enlight Metals already supplies metals to leading OEM manufacturers, including Tata Motors, Hyundai, and JCB, while also supporting major infrastructure projects such as Udaipur Airport and Navi Mumbai International Airport.
With its AI-driven procurement platform and expanding distribution footprint, the company aims to build a pan-India procurement ecosystem that enables manufacturers to access critical materials quickly while maintaining supply consistency and operational efficiency.
