Mahindra & Mahindra, the world’s largest tractor manufacturer by volumes and one of India’s largest farm equipment manufacturers, has introduced a new Groundnut Thresher. Featuring a user-friendly cost-effective design, the new ground nut thresher is easy to operate and requires no specialized skills.
Suited for groundnut farmers of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, Mahindra’s new Groundnut Thresher is designed for efficiency and durability, is compact in size with its ergonomic design permitting farmers to perform day-to-day operations with ease, while saving through reduced labour dependency. The new thresher improves tractor utilization and ensures convenient scheduling for harvesting of the groundnut crop, thus allowing farmers to harvest and thresh at their own pace.
The new Groundnut Thresher by Mahindra ensures real-time monitoring of grain quality and loss for immediate intervention, minimizing wastage and field residue. The new thresher is essentially beneficial where early cutting and delayed threshing helps mitigate risks.
Mahindra took its first step into the thresher segment over a decade ago with two models—designed for Paddy and Wheat. These initial offerings were a response to the pressing needs of Indian farmers who required reliable, efficient, and region-specific solutions for post-harvest operations.
