Affordable Robotic and Automation Limited (ARAPL), a pioneer in industrial automation and smart robotic solutions, has announced the appointment of Neeraj Gupta, Founder of Meru Cabs, as its Strategy and Growth Advisor.
Mr. Gupta is a pioneer in radio cabs in India and brings with him over two decades of entrepreneurial and leadership experience, having built Meru Cabs into one of India’s most trusted mobility brands in the world. A highly motivated and optimistic serial entrepreneur, Mr. Gupta is widely recognized for his expertise in start-ups and scaling businesses quickly. Under his leadership, Meru became a household name with a customer base of over 15 million users and a fleet strength of 20,000+ vehicles, operating across all major airports and offering both inter- and intra-city app-based services. Having raised growth capital through True North Private Equity Fund, Mr. Gupta successfully exited Meru Cabs in June 2021, selling his stake to the Mahindra Group. Prior to Meru, in 2000, he founded V-Link Tours & Travels Pvt. Ltd., which grew into one of the country’s largest enterprise mobility companies, servicing BPOs, IT firms, and media houses across nine cities in India. With a fleet of more than 2,000 vehicles, V-Link continues to serve some of India’s top blue-chip companies.
