Following to the launch of the Tesla Center in Gurugram, Tesla has now announced the opening of its first Tesla Charging Station in Gurugram at DLF Horizon Center. This significant step forward reinforces Tesla’s commitment to building a robust charging infrastructure in India, empowering customers with seamless and sustainable mobility solutions.
The Supercharging site, located in the Surface Parking Area at Horizon Center is equipped with 4 V4 Superchargers with peak charging speed of 250 kW; and 3 Destination Chargers providing charging speed of 11 kW, ensuring flexibility for every Tesla owner and catering to diverse customer needs.
With Tesla Superchargers, a Model Y can add up to 275km of range in just 15 minutes; enough for a trip to Hawa Mahal in Jaipur from Gurugram. The “Plug In, Charge and Go” charging experience, with 99.95% uptime, empowers Tesla owners to enjoy the freedom of travel and ease of charging without hassle.
Through the Tesla app, owners can easily navigate to the destination, preheat vehicle in advance, check stall availability, monitor charging progress, receive completion notifications, and make payments — all in one seamless experience. With the commissioning of this site, Tesla now operates 3 charging stations across India, equipped with 12 Superchargers and 10 Destination Chargers.
