“At Cityflo, we believe corporate commutes should be comfortable, convenient, consistent and affordable, without compromise. Our partnership with Eicher Trucks & Buses started in 2024, when we set out to understand the right bus configuration for city commutes. The result was a brand-new 27-seater vehicle, built specifically for city roads and refined to meet Cityflo’s service standards. We’re excited to continue building on that same spirit of collaboration as we scale.” Rishabh Shah, Co-Founder & CBO, Cityflo
Eicher Trucks and Buses, a business unit of VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, has strengthened its collaboration with Cityflo to scale premium intra-city mobility solutions across India. The partnership reinforces VECV’s leadership position as a long-term mobility partner focused on enabling reliable, high-quality daily commute solutions at-scale.
Building on Cityflo’s established deployment of nearly 2,000 buses across multiple cities, the collaboration reflects a shared commitment towards improving urban commuting through dependable and comfortable mobility solutions.
Under the partnership, Cityflo intends to procure 2,000 Eicher buses over a three-year period, with approximately 500 buses planned for deployment in FY27. Under the partnership, Eicher Trucks & Buses will offer a multi-fuel portfolio tailored to evolving urban mobility requirements, including premium AC pushback buses, alternate fuel CNG, and electric buses together with deployment capabilities. The agreement covers purchase of models such as the Eicher Skyline Pro 3011 AC Pushback with Rear Air Suspension in Diesel and CNG.
