KAS Group, one of India’s leading engineering conglomerates enabling semiconductor, electronics and advanced manufacturing industries, has announced the appointment of G. Sivakumar as General Manager, Manufacturing. The appointment reflects the Group’s continued investment in manufacturing leadership as India emerges as a strategic destination in global semiconductor and advanced manufacturing supply chains, requiring greater operational scale, quality excellence, and manufacturing precision.
In his new role, Mr. Sivakumar will oversee manufacturing operations, quality systems and supplier development across KAS Group’s facilities, working closely with the leadership team to strengthen operational rigour as the Group expands its manufacturing footprint and deepens engagements with global semiconductor equipment manufacturers and OEMs.
Sivakumar brings over 25 years of leadership experience across automotive and industrial manufacturing, with deep expertise in manufacturing operations, quality management, strategic sourcing, supplier development, and integrated management systems. During his career, he has held leadership roles with Renault Nissan Automotive India, Uno Minda Group, Prabha Engineering, Lucas TVS, and Rane Brake Linings, where he led Greenfield projects, new product introductions, operational excellence initiatives, and supply chain transformation programmes.
