“Cross-border trade is moving from freight movement to integrated supply chain orchestration, and customers now expect predictability, visibility and fewer handoffs. My focus will be to build the processes and systems that enable Hexalog to deliver that consistently — first by deepening our existing corridors, and then by taking that playbook to new markets.” Vishal Shukla, Chief Transformation Officer, Hexalog
Hexalog, a cross-border supply chain and logistics company, has appointed Vishal Shukla as Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) as the company looks to expand into new markets, trade lanes and products as part of its next phase of growth.
In his new role, Mr. Shukla will lead the strategic direction and execution of Hexalog’s transformation agenda end-to-end, working at the intersection of operations, strategy, technology and product development. His mandate spans building a more scalable operating model, standardizing processes across functions, driving technology adoption across Hexalog’s product suite, and developing new markets, trade lanes and fulfilment offerings designed to address the evolving requirements of cross-border businesses.
Mr. Shukla brings nearly 14 years of experience in business development, strategy and warehousing operations, with a career spanning high-growth logistics, e-commerce and supply chain organizations. His professional experience includes close to 5 years with TVS Supply Chain Solutions as Business Development Manager, followed by over 2 years as AVP – Strategy & Operations at Urbanic. Most recently, he served as SME – Contract Logistics at Maersk.
Commenting on the appointment, Dibyanshu Tripathi, CEO, Hexalog, said, “We are delighted to welcome Vishal to Hexalog at an important stage in our growth journey. His experience brings a valuable combination of strategic thinking and operational understanding to the organization. As we expand into new markets, his mandate will be critical in strengthening our processes, accelerating product development and creating the operational depth required to scale sustainably. We look forward to Vishal bringing fresh perspectives and energy to the team as we continue building a resilient supply chain engine for India’s growing global trade ambitions.”
The appointment comes at a time when cross-border logistics is increasingly moving beyond conventional freight movement towards integrated supply chain orchestration. As Indian D2C brands, MSMEs and exporters expand into international markets, businesses are looking for greater visibility, predictable fulfilment and fewer operational handoffs across freight, customs, warehousing and last-mile delivery.
Mr. Shukla’s mandate will be centred on building the operational and product foundation required to support this evolution. This includes strengthening workflows across Hexalog’s primary trade corridors and developing products that can be integrated directly into these networks.
Speaking on the appointment, Saurabh Deep Singla, Chief People Officer, Hexalog, said, “Redefining an industry as vital as cross-border trade takes more than conventional management. It takes leaders with infectious energy and a deep inner drive, people who can turn change into momentum across the organisation. As India’s EXIM footprint grows, our people will remain our biggest differentiator. Vishal’s appointment anchors our teams with leadership that champions innovation across departments, strengthens our problem-solving culture, and helps every Hexalog team member see themselves as an architect of global trade.”

The new leadership mandate is also aligned with Hexalog’s broader vision. The company has been building an integrated model with technology and operational processes working together to improve visibility, efficiency and coordination across the supply chain.
With Mr. Shukla taking charge of transformation, Hexalog aims to strengthen the operational playbook required to support higher-complexity clients and expand into new global trade lanes over time. Rather than pursuing geographic expansion in isolation, the company intends to first build greater resilience and efficiency across its existing operating corridors, creating a foundation for sustainable expansion.
The appointment also reflects the changing role of logistics in India’s export ecosystem. As businesses increasingly sell across borders, supply chain performance is becoming closely linked to customer experience, working capital, market expansion and competitiveness. Logistics is increasingly being viewed as a strategic growth function rather than only an operational requirement.
With Mr. Shukla’s appointment, Hexalog is looking to deepen this approach by bringing together operational discipline, product development and transformation to build the operating model, technology and market reach suited to the next phase of India’s cross-border trade growth.
